  • In 2003, Dove launched a formal partnership with NEDIC in Canada, and we have worked together over the years to create such resources as the Real Me Experience; a fun, interactive, online program developed to show young women aged 14-17 the ways in which internal and external factors connect to self-esteem and body image. Along with the collaborative development of tools and resources, we work with NEDIC on their bi-annual conference, which invites parents, educators, health professionals and anyone with an interest in self-esteem and body image to a learning session with world-renowned experts, authors, academics and thought-leaders. The future holds the development of new programs and initiatives designed in partnership to make a difference in the lives of Canadian women.

  • As the French Canadian partner to NEDIC in Canada, ANEB (Anorexia and Bulimia Quebec) has also been a long-standing partner to Dove, and we have worked together to positively touch the lives of French Canadian women and girls by providing valuable tools and resources designed to spark dialogue on body image and self-esteem. As a regular supporter of ANEB's annual fundraising gala, the organization's most important source of support annually, and with a future of exciting partnership plans, we look forward to continuing to affect lives positively in the province of Quebec

  • Because I am a Girl is Plan Canada’s global initiative to end gender inequality, promote girls’ rights and lift millions of girls and everyone around them out of poverty.

The Because I am a Girl initiative was founded by Plan International, one of the oldest and largest international charities in the world. Founded in 1937, Plan has supported boys and girls in the developing world for over 75 years through collaboration with children, their families and their communities.

With the help of developmental experts and using research conducted by the Dove Self Esteem Fund, together, the organizations have developed and distributed self-esteem building resources and activities. These resources are available for use by teachers, school clubs, mentors and moms to share with each other and the girls in their lives.
